We are the first choice for your motorcycle training in Sussex. From Compulsory basic training (CBT), 125 Training and Direct Access Scheme.

We guarantee a maximum of 2 students per instructor.

Rider Training Options.

Thomas Motorcycle Training offers a wide range of motorcycle training in Bognor Regis and the surrounds. From 16 years old just wanting to ride a moped to DAS and onto advanced rider training and even Instructor training.

Compulsory Basic Training.

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) was introduced in 1990 to improve road safety. It's a legal requirement for all provisional license holders before they can ride on the road. Compulsory basic training certificates will last you only 2 years.

Age 16 years you may ride up to a restricted 50 cc.

Age 17 years and above you may up to and including a 125cc.

 

125 Training courses for aged 17

125 Training course is availible for you if your 17 years or older. You may take your test on a 125 cc motorbike. This will restrict the motorbikes your allowed to ride to 33 BHP. After 2 years this restriction will be lifted and you can ride any size bike.

You will not have to take another test

 

DAS, Direct Access Scheme 21 years old .

DAS courses are not down to the size of the engine but the power output , it must be above 46.6 BHP. Therefore use a mixture of bikes. We use for our DAS bikes either Bandit 650'S or ER5's

When you pass this test you can ride any bike without any a power restrictions.
